Class Name: BLYTHEWOOD DAIRY PAIRS COMPETITION
Description: The aim of the competition is to find the Best Matching Pair of Animals from each Breed". Two female animals are selected by the Breed Society before 3pm on the Tuesday of Show. Entries listing the animals names and catalogue numbers are to be placed in a box at the Cattle Foreman�s Office. No Entry Fee is required. Preliminary judging will take place on the Wednesday after the Interbreed Junior Dairy Championship; animals to be shown without rosettes. The final judging will take place in the Main Ring at the same time as the Grand Parade on Wednesday. The Winning Dairy Pair will receive £500

Class 176 INTERBREED DAIRY GROUP CHAMPIONSHIPS
Class Name: FOR THE BEST GROUP OF FIVE ANIMALS,
Description: selected from entries in the Dairy section. Each Group is to consist of *2 Cows in milk from seperate classes, 1 Cow in calf, 1 Heifer in milk and 1 Heifer in calf. *In the event of any breed having only one Cow in milk class, the second animal may be drawn from this class. The animals will parade without any rosettes that have previously won. Conditions: 1. The entries will only be accepted from breed societies. 2. Not more than one group may be entered by each society. 3. No entry fee is required. 4. The breed society is required to state that it intends to make an entry. 5. The animals may be owned by one or more exhibitors but must be entered as a group in the name of the breed society only and not individual owners. 6. Prize money will only be paid to the breed society and not individual owners. The Catalogue numbers of the animals selected to make up the group must be given to the stewards when entering the judging ring.
