CH65 SUPREME BEEF CHAMPIONSHIP
Additional: Supreme Champion Beef Animal - The Yorkshire Agricultural Society Rose Bowl, Supreme Championship Sash, Rosette & prize card. The reserve will also receive a Rosette & prize card. This Championship will be judged by each judge in the Beef section (excluding Commercial) who will award a number of points from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 20 for each animal, except the section which they have judged. The animal gaining the highest points will be declared the Supreme Beef Champion. To celebrate the 150th Show the Supreme Champion will receive £150 and Reserve Supreme Champion will receive £75 in prize money.

Class 131 BLYTHEWOOD BEEF PAIRS COMPETITION
Class Name: BLYTHEWOOD BEEF PAIRS COMPETITION
Description: The aim of the competition is to find the Best Matching Pair of Animals from each Breed". One female and one male animal is selected by the Breed Society before 3pm on the Tuesday of Show. Entries listing the animals names and catalogue numbers are to be placed in a box at the Cattle Foreman�s Office. No Entry Fee is required. Preliminary judging will take place on the Wednesday after the Interbreed Junior Beef Championship; animals to be shown without rosettes. The final judging will take place in the Main Ring at the same time as the Grand Parade on Wednesday. The Winning Beef Pair will receive £500

Description: this competition is for groups of four junior animals selected from the entries in the Beef Shorthorn, Lincoln Red, Aberdeen-Angus, Hereford, Galloway, Belted Galloway, Highland, South Devon, Longhorn, Dexter, British Charolais, British Simmental, British Limousin, British Blonde, British Belgian Blue and Salers. *For the purposes of this class a Junior animal is to be 2 yrs or under on 1st July 2008.
